  ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR DR. ANDY J. DANYLCHUK RECEIVES AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN PUBLIC OUTREACH FROM THE AMERICAN FISHERIES SOCIETY   (Tampa, FL) August 23, 2017 – Dr. Andy J. Danylchuk, an Associate Professor of Fish Conservation at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, received the award for Excellence in Public Outreach today at the 2017 American Fisheries Society (AFS) Annual Meeting in Tampa, Florida. The market, which opened July 30, is the first of its kind in the nation and offers products that are produced or originate from New England. The BPM’s founding partners include the Trustees of Reservations, Henry P. Kendall Foundation, the John W. Henry Family Foundation, Holly and David Bruce and the Manton Foundation.
