Sarah is a research fellow with the Family Forest Research Center, investigating family forest owners and their land. The team’s research aims to understand the benefits family forest owners provide to ecosystems and society, the challenges and threats facing landowners, and solutions used to mitigate these threats.
Prior to working with the Family Forest Research Center, Sarah worked in ecosystem-level climate change research at The Ecosystems Center in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, as well as forestry outreach for the Rhode Island Resource Conservation and Development council and the NRCS.
