Nigel Golden presented the 2020 Ambrose Jearld Jr. Lecture on Diversity and Inclusion at Woods Hole. The Ambrose Jearld, Jr. Lecture is given every summer by invited scholars, scientists, authors and others who can challenge the status quo to bring perspective, knowledge and expertise to the subject of building a more diverse and inclusive community.  Nigel is a doctoral candidate in Environmental Conservation and graduate fellow in the Northeast Climate Adaptation Science Center.  Here is a link to his presentation: “Reducing Harm: A Politic to Address Institutional and Cultural Practices that Reduce Participation and Retention in STEM,”
