Rebekah Zimmerer, graduate student at the Family Forest Research Center, has been awarded a Fulbright scholarship for the 2016-2017 academic year.

Rebekah will be studying at the University of Eastern Finland’s Joensuu campus in the School of Forest Science, working with Dr. Jukka Tikkanen.

She will be implementing a mixed methods study of Finnish landowner attitudes towards their forests, both present and future, as a foundation for comparison with American landowners’ perspectives.
