3D printing is often referred to as the “next industrial revolution”. While the idea of printing your own consumer goods on-demand is certainly exciting, there are many questions that relate to this technology: ownership & copyright, accessibility, technical issues, cost, and others. Alexander Schreyer will present this exciting technology, discuss questions surrounding it, and explain how everyone can use it. Mr. Schreyer, a Senior Lecturer at UMass, is the Director of the Building and Construction Technology Program, and Author of “Architectural Design with SketchUp”.
