Pam Loring, a PhD candidate in Wildlife and Fisheries Conservation will defend her dissertation entitled, “Evaluating Digital VHF Technology to Monitor Shorebird and Seabird use of Offshore Wind Energy Areas in the Western North Atlantic” on Wednesday, August 10th , 2016, at 1 pm in room 312a, Holdsworth Hall. Her exam committee members are Dr. Curtice Griffin (Co-Chair), Dr. Paul Sievert (Co-Chair), Dr. Ramakrishna Janaswamy (Electrical & Computer Engineering), and Dr. Peter Paton (University of Rhode Island).
