Alumnus, Mike Chase receives the San Diego Zoo Global’s 2015 Conservation Medal for Conservation in Action for his work with Elephants Without Borders

Screen Shot 2015-09-14 at 1.46.02 PMMike Chase ’07 PhD, Environmental Conservation, received the San Diego Zoo Global’s 2015 Conservation Medal for Conservation in Action for his work with the nonprofit he founded, Elephants Without Borders, providing data on the status of elephants and other wildlife, identifying cross-border corridors, and discovering new migration routes. Chase is a former student of Curt Griffin, who also does research for the organization.
